If being hated for the wings on my back wasn’t enough, now I’ve been kidnapped, accused of a crime I didn’t commit, and taken to an island where breaking the rules can mean death.

Pretty bad it seems. The other prisoners despise me, including the rich and super hot Vaughn Collins, who may or may not be a warlock. He thinks he’s tough and sexy, and maybe he is, but he’s also an arrogant ass who I despise right back.

He’s the least of my worries, though, especially when giant squids and sea monsters try to eat me alive, wings and all. Still, I’m trapped with Vaughn, and I must survive all the twistedtrials our captors have designed, so I can get away from the maniacs who run this place.

But there’s more at stake than meets the eye. Some trials aren’t meant to be survived and something evil is taking place on the island. Is Vaughn, with his distractingly intense, green eyes, at the center of it?

The island killed my friends, but I survived. Now they’re forcing me to go back.

A month ago, Adaline and Alexander Habermann ripped me from my home and the people I care about, but that seems a lifetime ago. The twisted twins run a sinister experimental facility disguised as a rehabilitation island.

They brought me here along with other Supernaturals who became my friends and fought with me for survival, but now they’re gone, and I’m still here, a prisoner.

But there is a new twist. The twins say I can earn my freedom, but only if I help them. They want me back on the island to guide their fresh recruits—a terrible combination of vulnerable, young wizards, and blood-thirsty vamps.

What happened last time still haunts me, and I can’t trust the twins’ promises. But what choice do I have? I must comply or stay a prisoner. Or worse, become a victim of one of their cruel experiments.

To make matters worse, I have to work with Vaughn—the same werewolf I thought I had feelings for until he savagely betrayed me. We must figure out a way to keep these kids alive while the island does its best to kill us all. But Vaughn is dangerous, a vicious werewolf who only cares about himself.

What will kill me first? The evil twins? Their island? Or Vaughn?

Making it through the dark trials the island and its inhabitants put me through nearly killed me, but there is hope. A rescue team has arrived, saving me from the Habermanns’ clutches.

Yet, our fight isn’t over. Those I love are still trapped, and Vaughn is gravely injured.

Still, we have to press on. And fight I must. Freeing the captives may make me seem ruthless, but if that’s what I have to become to save those I love, so be it.

I won’t stop until those who use the island’s powers for evil are put down for good.
