Perilous (Dragon's Creed Book 3) Kindle Edition
Continue the journey with Lila McCarty and her dragons with the third book in the Dragon’s Creed Series.
It’s been months since Tara Palmer attempted to destroy all that Lila McCarty and her four dragon shifters hold dear. There’s been no sign of their nemesis, but Lila’s father is still not better. In fact, he’s worse and the doctors can’t fix him.
Lila’s pretty sure Tara and dragon magic are to blame.
When the bold and sexy head of the Dragon Conciliatory, Black Rock, shows up on her doorstep with a dying man in his arms, Lila learns Tara may not be done with them yet. Untamed dragons are sick and dying and no one knows why.
With the promise of answers about her father and the new, mysterious illness, Lila and her dragons fly to South America. But Black Rock may have more up his sleeve than a little rest and relaxation. The fate of dragon kind just might be at stake.

About the authors
Katie French is an Amazon best-selling author in Young Adult Sci-fi and Fantasy. Her book, The Breeders, was a semi-finalist in the 2014 Kindle Book Awards. Other than that, her major award includes a "Best Mom Mug" which is cute, but really, she'd rather just have the cash.
She works as a high school English teacher, and, yes, she will correct your grammar. In her free time, she writes manically, reads great books, and takes care of her three fairly mediocre children (whom she loves very much if they are reading this).
You can join her mailing list at www.katiefrenchbooks.com and receive two free full-length novels, so do it already. Contact her at katie@katiefrenchbooks.com.
USA Today bestselling author, Ingrid Seymour loves, loves, loves to write. She's a new adult author. She writes in a variety of genres including fantasy, urban fantasy, and paranormal. She loves pizza and sushi, Sunkist and gum. She believes in vampires, witches, but not zombies (uh-uh, never!) She writes to loud music, daydreams constantly and spends too much time on TikTok!! Find her there? ;)
Ingrid has incredible fun doing what she does, but more than anything she enjoys hearing from her readers. It's a dream come true.
* USA Today bestseller list November 9, 2017.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2018Lila McCarty and her yummy dragons are back in Katie French and Ingrid Seymour’s Perilous (Dragon's Creed Book 3), and this time the fate of dragon kind just might be at stake. Lila’s archenemy, the powerful dragon Tara Palmer, is up to no good and things are coming to a head in this concluding volume of the series. Untamed dragons are sick and dying, Lila’s dad is still fading from the time he’d been Tara’s prisoner, and her her best friend Mercedes is sucked into it all. Don’t worry though, she’s teamed up with Black Rock, the head of the Dragon Conciliatory (and as “bold and sexy” as the book blurb description). I’d not bet against Lila. I would bet on this story, however, as it’s got everything needed: great story, superb world-building and cast of characters and a totally satisfying series ending. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2018Awesome read, well written with a great plot and characters. I was absorbed from beginning to end. This is book 3 in the series, which is the final in installment to the series. Though I hope not, i love this series and wish it would continue. This book has action, suspense, romance, intrigue and twists and turns you won't see coming. It is fast paced, and the world building is fantastic. Lila and the guys are eager to find Tara and put a stop to her tormenting. Stopping Tara is not Lisa's only problem though. Her dad hasn't gotten any better since Tara had him held captive.....they think Tara is to blame for this. Hopefully Black Rock can help figure out what is going on. Highly recommend! I love this series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2019So the ending wad good. All the bad guys taken care of. But there were some loose ends that didn't seem to be taken care of. Mercedes? Fang? And these relationships were just now defined so we don't get to see how it will play out at all. I think an epilogue would have taken care of these loose ends.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2018The story just keeps getting better! Perilous has more romance, intrigue, and mayhem. Lila continues her fight against her archenemy, the powerful dragon Tara Palmer, while facing an internal battle of her own. She and her dragons join up with Black Rock to help him fight against Tara's latest reign of terror. Lila also has her father to worry about. He isn't getting any better and they suspect that it's Tara's doing. There are some surprises along the way for Lila and her guys. Her best friend is also sucked into the tumult, but more as an observer and supporter. This book has a proper ending, but I'm hoping that there are more adventures to come!
I received an ARC of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2018This series has been quite good. Perilous is no exception. Plenty of action and plot twists to keep you engaged from start to finish. Even being a reverse harem writing, it remains fairly PG-13 for the most part which is different than many of the books in the genre. I was hooked at page 1 until the end. You really should check out this book and series. Well worth you time to read. I received a free copy of the book but my review is completely voluntary and unbiased.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 10, 2018The third installment in the Dragon's Creed series and it still manages to hold it's own weight by keeping up the action, thrills, perils and romance. If you're read the first two installments, than the third is a must! If you have't read any of the installments, then start at the beginning. A clean reverse harem series that still manages to keep it steamy.
I read a review copy of this title.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 31, 2018There are a lot of things I like about this book: fast paced, tons of action, quite a few interesting twists... Unfortunately I have a couple of things I didn't like, the majority being Lila kissing every single/young guy she meets along the way. I think it might be sending a wrong message to YA out there. I mean, I get it, girls (and boys) do have thoughts about 'other people' while in relationship, but having actual physical contact, and then calling them 'my boys', doesn't sound realistic. (Unless, I'm too old now and the world has drastically changed. :) )
The other thing I disagree with, I cannot discuss without revealing the spoilers, so I cannot really discuss it here :) but I was so sad it happened, and I'm still hoping for the best. ;)
- Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2018This is another excellent addition to the series! I loved it! The book was well written and the story and characters were well developed. The characters have individual personalities and the dynamics are amazing. The story was action packed and full of suspense, emotion, intrigue, hot chemistry and romance. This book is an amazing conclusion to the series but I wish the books would continue! I have nothing but praise for this book collection and would highly recommend this book and series!!
I received an arc for a voluntary review.
