What a busy day, week, month, year! Pheew!
So, what’s going on with me? Well, these past ten days, I’ve been working on my NaNoWriMo project, which happens to be a novella for the Ignite The Shadows trilogy. This novella will be James McCray’s story which—if you have read the first book in the series—happens to be a kickass character that many readers have fallen in love with.
And guys, one cool thing about writing this novella is that in what has transpired of the month of November, I’ve already written 1/3 of it.
Let me shout it in excitement . . . 1/3 OF IT!!!! Sqeeeee!
That is so cool! Just for comparison, what I have written so far would only make 1/9 of a full length novel like Ignite The Shadows. So now you can see why I’m so excited! 🙂
In other news, this weekend I will be signing in @YOMU_CON. I was invited a few months back, and I can’t wait to meet everyone and connect with some new readers. They have a nice roster of attendees which you should check out. Also, I took some time to update my 2015 Writing Goals Post since my goals shifted a little, as goals often do. All in all it has been a great writing year. I am thrilled.
For those wondering about Ripper, book#2 in The Morphid Chronicles, I’m working on the last touches before I send it to my editor. I still don’t have a release date, but I should know early next year.
Finally on Eclipse The Flame, I have received structural edits from my wonderful editor at Harper Voyager, and I will begin that work in December. There is a release date for the ebook and the updated info is in Goodreads already. If you find out what it is, that will give you a few extra entries on the #SomeNews Giveaway. So go find out 😉
