Tell us Olivia, what inspired you to start blogging?

I was following many book bloggers via Twitter and really enjoyed reading their bookish tweets and posts. They really inspired me to take my reading to the next level!

What is your favorite YA sub-genre and why?

I love fantasy books the most because they are so creative and provide an easy escape from reality.

Is there a book or series that inspired you to read YA?

The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot were my first YA reads, but Veronica Roth’s Divergent series really drew me in to this genre.

Tell us about “The Traveling Notebook” It is such a creative idea. I love stuff like that. I really want to see the pages you created. How fun was it? How many bloggers before it reaches Australia??

Josephine from Josie’s Book Corner and Lia from BookLand are the creators of The Traveling Notebook. When I saw the sign up information about this project, I knew it was for me. I adore receiving international mail and connecting with fellow book bloggers. There are currently 21 book bloggers participating in The Traveling Notebook. As I was the first recipient on the tour, only Lia’s page was completed. Her page was very colourful and really spoke of her personality. It was so much fun receiving this and completing my own page before sending it off on its next journey!

What book would you like all your blog followers to read and why?

I would love to give away one of the books from the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas, in particular Queen of Shadows. Presently, it is my favourite series. The world-building throughout this series is absolutely phenomenal! Anyone who enjoys fantasy should definitely pick up this series. It is such a well-written set of books that follows the plucky main character, Celaena Sardothien as she completes her quests.

Would you share with us a unique experience you’ve due to blogging?

I’m not sure that I can come up with anything specifically unique that other bloggers haven’t experienced. However, being approached through social media by authors, publishers, book bloggers, and other book nerds has really been quite exciting. I am always so appreciative of this community and their willingness to be open and caring towards one another.

About 150.

And this is what we all really want to know: who is your favorite book boyfriend?
